On the Johnstownbridge side there were joyous scenes as the Kildare club collected their second consecutive All-Ireland.

But as Murphy was raising the trophy in the stands at St Brendan’s Park, Birr, Sarah Skelly broke away from her downcast Scariff-Ogonnelloe teammates to have a quiet moment with her daughter, Eleanor.

The contrast between winning and losing a one-point game was beautifully captured by LocalStreaming.club camera operator Anthony Moran.
