Sunday week's Allianz Hurling League Division 1 Final between Kilkenny and Tipperary will be played before a reduced capacity at Nowlan Park.
The Kilkenny GAA headquarters has an overall capacity of 30,000, but the capacity has been reduced to 23,000 due to health and safety reasons.
Just 5,000 terrace tickets will be available for the game, while there will be seated accommodation for 18,000 in the stands.
The decision to play the final at the Kilkenny city venue comes because of a home and away agreement between the two counties.
When Kilkenny and Tipperary last met in an Allianz Hurling League Division 1 final in 2009, the game was played at Semple Stadium in Thurles.
Tipperary have now agreed to return the favour and head over the border to take on their Kilkenny counterparts.
