New names announced for Galway management team

Former defenders Seamus Coen and Sean Silke have become members of Galway manager Conor Hayes' backroom team.

Former defenders Seamus Coen and Sean Silke have become members of Galway manager Conor Hayes' backroom team.

The two former AllStars both collected All-Ireland medals with Hayes in 1980.

Coen will be a selector, while two-time All Star defender Silke will act in a coaching capacity.

The management team was ratified by the Galway Hurling Board on Tuesday night.
