Divilly netted the hosts first goal after just five minutes, but Derry fought back to level the tie at 0-7 to 1-4 with 10 minutes to go before the break.

However, Divilly's 29th minute goal helped Kildare lead by 2-6 to 0-9 at half-time.

Ruairi Convery claimed six first half points for Derry, but Kildare ran rampant with six unanswered points in a 15 minute spell on the restart.

It was a home win also for Meath who booked their final place thanks to a 0-17 to 0-10 win over Wicklow at Trim.

The Royals took command early on and raced into a 0-6 to 0-1 lead with Kilmessan's Steven claiming the bulk of their early scores.

Meath led 0-9 to 0-4 at the interval, but Andy O'Brien helped bring Wicklow into contention on the restart.

O'Brien fired three quick frees to leave just two points between the teams, before the sides traded scores.

A Gavin Byrne point for Wicklow cut the gap to the minimum, but Meath drove on once more.

Clynch continued to impress with Mark O'Sullivan also on target as the Royals held out for a seven-point win.

Gerry Fallon scored nine points as Roscommon claimed a 2-16 to 2-10 win over Queens University Belfast in the Kehoe Shield semi-final at St. Loman's 3G Pitch in Mullingar.

Roscommon led by 1-9 to 0-2 at halt-time, with Naos Connaughton netting their goal before the break.

The Connacht side moved 11 points ahead inside three minutes of the restart, but the students bounced back.

Down's Michael Conway, Armagh duo Conor Corvan and Ciaran Reid and Derry's Alan Grant helped bring QUB into contention cutting the gap to seven points as the game entered the final quarter.

Grant claimed a second goal for Queen's late on, but Roscommon held out for victory.
