Hickey and Tennyson set to miss Leinster final

All-Ireland champions Kilkenny look set to be without defenders Noel Hickey and John Tennyson for Sunday week's Leinster SHC final against Wexford.

All-Ireland champions Kilkenny look set to be without defenders Noel Hickey and John Tennyson for Sunday week's Leinster SHC final against Wexford.

Hickey, who missed the semi-final win over Offaly due to a long-standing groin problem, was unable to feature for his club last weekend.

Tennyson, meanwhile, was forced to retire while playing for his club after aggravating a knee injury that required surgery last autumn.

Attacker Richie Power is also a major doubt for the Wexford match after he too was forced to limp out of a club game after aggravating a hamstring injury.
