The GAA's Head of Games, Pat Daly, has called for an end to challenge games labelling them more trouble than they are worth.

The GAA's Head of Games, Pat Daly, has called for an end to challenge games labelling them more trouble than they are worth.

A number of recent high profile unsavoury incidents have occurred in challenge games and Daly, along with Tyrone boss Mickey Harte, believes it's better to stick to competitive fixtures.

The suggestion is likely to cause widespread debate but it is thought the majority of inter-county managers would be against such a move.
