Check out this miraculous recovery after final whistle is blown

What a difference a ‘peep, peep, peep’ makes.

Ferns were playing St Martin's in the Wexford Senior Championship and one Ferns player went down under a challenge late in the second half.

The player looked to be in a bad way, with lads from the sideline rushing to check on him and calling in further assistance.

But then a miracle happened - the final whistle blew.

And lo, the player went from rolling around on the ground in pain to leaping for joy with his teammates.

Clip courtesy of Wexford GAA.

In the interest of fairness, after the celebratory hug the player DID appear to be injured, limping heavily when he walked.

As his own club wrote when the clip was shared online: “Ah shure...sometimes you just have to celebrate......”

The moment was captured and shared on the Official Wexford GAA Facebook page.
