Bank Holiday bonanza for football fans
Three of the All-Ireland SFC quarter-finals will be held at Croke Park over the August Bank Holiday weekend, along with the fourth round qualifier between Roscommon and Tyrone.
The GAA have confirmed the football fixtures for next weekend, following a meeting of the Central Competitions Control Committee.
Three Munster teams will be in action at GAA headquarters next Sunday as Kerry meet Limerick for the second time this summer, before Connacht winners Mayo challenge reigning All-Ireland champions Cork.
The matches, which have 2pm and 4pm throw-in times, will form a mouth-watering double header which will be broadcast live on RTÉ Two and TV3.
On Saturday, the Jones's Road venue will also play host to the delayed Roscommon v Tyrone clash, which will not be televised.
That will be the curtain raiser at 4pm, with Ulster champions Donegal and a much-fancied Kildare side facing off in the headline act at 6pm.
The RTÉ cameras will be there for live coverage of the Donegal v Kildare game, as former playing rivals Jim McGuinness and Kieran McGeeney have their second meeting as managers.
Donegal and Kildare drew 0-8 to 1-5 when they played each other in the Allianz Football League in Letterkenny back in February.
