Chicago librarian Henry DeTamble first discovers he suffers from Chrono-Displacement genetic disorder as a five-year-old, when his ability to time travel saves him from a fatal car crash.
Henry meets a beautiful artist called Clare; they fall in love and share his extraordinary secret with their friend Gomez and his wife Charisse. Henry and Clare try to conceive but his genetic quirks result in numerous miscarriages, so they turn in desperation to geneticist Dr David Kendrick for guidance.
Here’s a time travel movie with a difference. Based on the bestseller by Audrey Niffenegger, Rachel McAdams is wonderful as the eponymous spouse, while Eric Bana gives a great performance as her husband. Have a pack of tissues on standby for the moving finale: you may need them.
After filming was completed, Bana began work on Star Trek, for which he had to shave his head. Unfortunately, he was needed for reshoots on this, but the production company had to wait months until his hair had fully grown back, putting the release date back by a year.

Donal Skehan is back with a brand new series, Kitchen Hero:Feast which, as the name implies, offers a culinary and visual spectacle.
In each programme, Donal travels to a different county and visits three small, often quirky, food producers.
He then cooks three dishes using the producers’ ingredients to create the eponymous Feast in a spectacular country house to which the producers are invited.
Donal is on home ground for this episode, filming the Feast at Howth Castle where a spare place is still laid at the dinner table for Granuaile.
He goes lobster fishing with his next door neighbour Joe Caulfield, visits the Arun bakery where Vlad makes the perfect brioche, among other breads; and Jim O’Rourke’s nursery, which specialises in exotic tomatoes.
Filmed on location in a customised pop up set and a cool urban studio in the heart of the city, #TRENDING is a fashion show full of stylish insights and opinions.

Paul accompanies Krystal and handler Ali up to Manchester for her star turn on the cobbles, and it’s not long before he’s accosting stars Jane Danson, Les Dennis, Bill Roache and Kate Ford.
Meanwhile, the presenter also meets Bailey the shihtzu, who may lay claim to the title of Battersea’s ugliest dog, and Pepe the Jack Russell, who has a pampered life to look forward to when he finds a posh new home.
The Lazy Chef sees Simon Lamont share his secrets to cut every corner, offer tips, tricks and short cuts that will allow you to make complicated food in a simple way.
Simon’s quest for big flavours sees him meeting some big characters, all as passionate about food as himself.
Over the course of the series, we will travel the length and breadth of this beautiful island to sample the spoils of Irish cuisine, interacting with those who are dedicated to providing the very best locally made produce.
In the final episode Simon returns home to Dublin to explore the social food movement that is taking the capital by hold.
And it seems only fitting that he should embrace the movement with his very own pop-up supper club for his nearest and dearest.
He will be making a mix and match brunch that deconstructs some of the fry-up favourites along with a trio of burgers that will leave his hungry guests satisfied!

Cameras follow a male flamer bowerbird as it shows off its artistic prowess to impress a potential mate.
However, it does have a plan B if that fails – to demonstrate its dancing skills instead. Elsewhere, waved albatross pair up for life, while one wrong move from the male peacock jumping spider in its courtship routine could prove fatal.
In this stunning episode, we’re also lucky enough to be witness to one of the most magnificent displays of all _ from the male pufferfish, which impresses its mates by building a spectacular underwater ’crop circle’ in the sand.
