Things got heated between Vogue and Niamh Horan last night on the topic of body shaming

Things got a little heated between Vogue Williams and Niamh Horan last night on Brendan O’Connor’s Cutting Edge.

The panel were discussing the issue of body-shaming, a topic Vogue addressed in the past saying people don’t have the right to comment on her body type.

The journalist then went on to say that people “absolutely have a right to do that” as the model is putting her body out there for “public consumption” and to “make money”.

Vogue then retaliated by saying that she likes to project a healthy body image but she has roughly 200 or 300 people commenting saying “you’re so fat, you need to lose two stone”.

Niamh then went on to ask Vogue why she calls it “body-shaming” when it’s just somebody having an opinion.

Who would you have sided with, Niamh or Vogue?
