Netflix's favourite Dad figure David Harbour, aka Police Chief Jim Hopper from Stranger things has been in Antartica mixing it up with some emperor penguins.
Harbour put in a request to Greenpeace to join an expedition and, in his own words, "tell emperor penguin couples I think they have terrific parenting ideologies".
Hey @Greenpeace , how many retweets to send me someplace to tell emperor penguin couples I think they have terrific parenting ideologies? Perhaps hone the Hopper dance with the males...

He also suggested honing his Hopper dance moves, probably ahead of Stranger Things season three.
He broke out the moves in a touching scene with Eleven in season two of the hit series.
Well, Greenpeace responded with the challenge, reward and greatest pun this side of the Upside Down.
"Hmm, if you get over 200k we’ll ask the Captain if you can join our expedition to the Antarctic and dance with the penguins.
#StrangerThings have happened"

Needless to say, Harbour jumped at the challenge and got to work right away.
"Internet, listen...I’m a giver. I give and I give. But now I need you. I need 200k retweets to go dance with penguins. Please internet. Please retweet THIS TWEET. Please. A man needs his ‘guins."

And did he deliver on his end, and dance with the penguins? You better believe he did.

In a separate video, Harbour commented on how humbling the experience of visiting the Antartic has been for him.
He said: "I thought this was going to be a silly thing, and I thought I was just going to dance with penguins, but ultimately...it's turned into another thing, about protecting the Antartic waters.
"It's sort of humbled me in my narcissism, so no I don't really feel like dancing with penguins, but sometimes as an actor, you've gotta do things you don't wanna do."

Looking at the pictures he has posted on Instagram and social media, it's easy to see why he found the experience humbling.
