Pop superstar Britney Spears decided to dump her manager of eight years, Larry Rudolph, after he reportedly interfered in her marital affairs.
Rudolph, who masterminded the Toxic singer's career, allegedly made Spears sign an annulment to end her 55-hour marriage to childhood friend Jason Alexander in January.
He also insisted she sign a prenuptial agreement with new husband Kevin Federline, reports American newspaper The New York Daily News.
An insider tells the publication, "Larry forced Britney to get the annulment from Jason Alexander. And he forced her to sign a prenup with Kevin Federline.
"Bryan Spears, Britney's older brother, was always trying to push Larry out of the picture. Bryan has the managing bug."
But a spokeswoman for Spears dismisses such talk as simply gossip.
She says: "They parted ways amicably, and Britney wishes him the best. Bryan has nothing to do with it. Larry had nothing to do with the prenup. She doesn't have a new manager yet."
