Price wants to join Andre in jungle
Katie Price wants to face Peter Andre on the next series of 'I'm A Celebrity - Get Me Out Of Here!'.
The glamour model met her estranged husband on the ITV reality show in 2004 and was said to be "outraged" when he announced he would be returning to the Australian jungle in 2009.
Friends say Price - also known as Jordan - is now plotting her own return to the show so she can win back fans and prove "once and for all" that she is more popular than Andre.
The 31-year-old star reportedly told friends: "Pete's just boring. I'm the real star. People were only interested in him in the first place because he was with me. I'm the one everyone wants to see."
ITV bosses are said to be "thrilled" with Katie's plan, and are desperately trying to sign her up before she changes her mind.
An insider said: "'I'm A Celebrity' helped Katie turn her image around and she knows it could be time for another charm offensive.
"Getting them back together would be TV dynamite. Everyone would be watching to see if they would fall in love again or tear each other apart."
