Viewers of The Six O’Clock Show were hearing double last night as comedian Conor Moore delivered his impression of Martin King - in front of Martin King.

The Irish YouTuber appeared on the show virtually on Tuesday evening and left the co-hosts in stitches impersonating the former weatherman.

Putting on his best King accent, he started the skit with: “Hello from Orlando! How’s it going, says you.”

“That was brilliant. That really, really was good. And you did it in front of me!” Martin chuckled while Muireann added: “You’ve never done that one before! I’ve never seen you do that before. It’s brilliant — I love it.”

To be fair, it’s pretty spot on.

Conor Moore is known for his impressive impersonations, particularly of people in the sporting world.
