Frank Ocean wants to press charges against Chris Brown after the pair were involved in a fight on Sunday night.

The 'Pyramids' singer plans to take things further with authorities after he was allegedly punched by the 23-year-old 'Turn Up The Music' hitmaker, who accused Frank of blocking his car from leaving Westlake Recording Studios in Los Angeles.

Sheriff's Office spokesman Steve Whitmore, who is dealing with the case, told the New York Post newspaper: "[Frank is] desirous of prosecution. We'll find out what happened."

Chris fled the scene straight after the apparent incident, while Frank stayed to speak to officers who arrived at the scene.

The 'Sweet Life' hitmaker took to Twitter shortly after the brawl to say he was "jumped" by Chris and claims his hand injury may affect his live performance at the Grammy Awards next month.

The Los Angeles Police Department has released a statement relating to their enquiries.

It read: "West Hollywood Station deputies are investigating allegations that Chris Brown assaulted an unnamed victim. Deputies responded to a call of six males fighting at the 7200 block of Santa Monica Boulevard, West Hollywood.

"Upon their arrival, deputies talked to witnesses who stated that Chris Brown and the victim were involved in an altercation over a parking space. The altercation allegedly led to Chris Brown punching the victim.

"After a brief fight, the parties were separated. Chris Brown and his entourage left the location prior to the arrival of deputies. The investigation is on-going and investigators will contact Chris Brown at a later time."

Chris is still on probation for beating up his on/off girlfriend Rihanna in 2009 and any new charge could affect this.
