Liam Neeson is to star as a hit man in new movie 'Run All Night'.
The 60-year-old actor is to portray a mob killer for hire in the action film which is being produced by Warner Bros.
Neeson's character will have to take on his boss' entire organisation in one night and then has to go on the run from the Mafia and the police to protect his family and his estranged son.
The movie has been written by Brad Ingelsby - whose previous work includes 'Out of the Furnace' and 'Die Bad'.
Jaume Collet-Serra - who worked with Neeson on 'Unknown' and is currently shooting him for air marshal thriller 'Non-Stop' - is set to direct.
Shooting on the project is due to start in the autumn.
Neeson recently signed up to star in the Lego film along with Will Ferrell.
The 'Taken' star have signed on to voice a character in Phil Lord and Chris Miller's 3D animation movie - a cartoon adaptation of the popular children's toy - which is entitled 'Lego: The Piece Of Resistance'.
'Mad Men' actress Alison Brie and Nick Offerman are also set to be involved in the project, joining Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Banks and Morgan Freeman who signed up in August.
The Lego film is due for a February 2014 release.
