Indiependence Music & Arts Festival has today announced a second batch of acts to play this year's event.

The artists announced include Irish favourites Hozier, The Minutes and Hudson Taylor. They will be joined at Deer Farm by British artist Dan Croll and new Irish electronic duo Tvvins.

A strong Cork card features as part of the new announcements, with The Altered Hours, Elastic Sleep, The Vincent(s), Toy Soldier and Slow Motion Heroes joining Leeside legends already announced, Sultans of Ping.

Codes, Acrobat, Atlantis Fire Department and Hunting the Braveare the final acts announced this morning.

Indiependence takes place this August Bank Holiday Weekend with a line-up featuring headliners that include US hip hop legends Public Enemy, Tom Odell, White Lies, Fun Lovin' Criminals and Dan Le Sac Vs Scroobius Pip.

Irish artist loom large on this year's bill, which also includes Delorentos, Damien Dempsey, David Holmes (DJ set), Lisa O'Neill, The Academic, We Cut Corners, Orla Gartland and Walking On Cars.

The Barcardi Oakheart Arena, Spoken Word Stage, Comedy and Breaking Tunes acts will be announced in the coming weeks.

Tickets are on sale now priced at €99 for weekend camping.
