Maynard shocked at girl's attention-grabbing stunt

Conor Maynard was left stunned when a fan grabbed his arm and scrawled her twitter name onto his body.

The 19-year-old singer is always mobbed by girls wherever he goes and he insists they will go to any lengths to get his attention, however, this particular admirer went too far when she wrote on him.

The 'Turn Around' hitmaker said: "One girl grabbed my arm and wrote her twitter ID on my hand so I wouldn't forget it, so I had to follow her."

Other fans wait outside his tour bus hoping to catch a glimpse of their idol or even an invite onto the vehicle.

He exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "It's kind of crazy how my fans will come to the show and they'll literally wait outside till about 2 or 3am. When we actually leave and get ready to go, they'll still be outside waiting for a picture, or an autograph, so it is very insane."

When asked how he would react if he found a fan hiding in his hotel room on his tour bus, Conor admitted he would probably flee in fear.

He said: "I'd probably just run. I think, if they've broken into my room, I wouldn't be very welcoming. I think I'd probably just be really scared and start crying. I'd find my manager or security and get someone to save my life!

Conor will be performing a concert for an anticipated 15,000 fans and switching on the Christmas Lights at the Bluewater shopping centre in Greenhithe, Kent, England from 5.30pm on Friday November 16.
