Irish stars lend their support to Repeal The 8th protest

A host of Irish stars have pledged their support for the Repeal The 8th movement – with marches taking place all over Europe today.

People in cities across Ireland as well as Brussells, Warsaw, London and Berlin to support repealing the 8th amendment.

Celebrities all of Ireland have been lending their support the campaign – with many attending the march in Dublin today.

In the midst of the marches award-winning singer Hozier posed for photos for, who organised the march.

“Hozier ready to represent as he joins us to #riseandrepeal at the #arcmarch16 #marchforchoice #repealthe8th,” they wrote on their Twitter account.

Meanwhile Peaky Blinders star Cillian was spotted by fans in town, as he joined the enormous crowds.

Top model and author Roz Purcell shared a personal message on her Instagram explaining why she supports pro-choice, while stars like Maia Dunphy, James Kavanagh, Thalia Heffernan and Holly Carpenter all attended the march.
