As I walked into the Comedy tent to witness Foil, Arms and Hog take to the stage, I really didn’t know what to expect.
All I knew about the trio was based on some of their viral videos, but it wasn’t long before I understood their set.
The Dublin natives have mastered the art of bringing YouTube to real-life in the form of sketches.
And they didn’t waste anytime before launching straight into ‘Bouncer’, a sketch about two bouncers on their first date.
So, of course after the formal introductions, a quick i.d check and nightclub stamp, it took a hilarious turn: “Want to head back to my place tonight? It’s free before 12”
“Not tonight buddy, not with those shoes”
‘Kerry man gives directions’ was up next and although I’ve re-watched this video a thousand times, it may have been twice as funny to witness their take on the Kerry accent in person.

Then it was audience participation time!
As the trio donned their doctor scrubs and laid out a few chairs, I was nervous to see where this going and a deadly game of musical chairs wasn’t what I was expecting.
Dragging three punters from the crowd I spotted a familiar face, no other than fellow YouTuber Clare Cullen.
No favouritism though, as Clare was first to accept defeat.
Enjoy your first time workin with Foil Arms and Hog @Clisare won't be the last :-)

Who knew watching a game of musical chairs could have me holding my sides?

After a few more sketches, including a particular one about border control, they announced: “Try explaining that to your friends” - some things just need to be seen to be believed.
Then it was time for a gameshow, “Who’s a p***k? You’re a p***k!”
It has contestants competing against each other to win the title of ‘Biggest p***k’.
Rounds include, ‘finish this sentence’ and the ultimate p***k dance-off.
Although after one contestant's efforts to dance into the audience and down other people’s drinks, it was ‘I don’t dance’ that won the round.

The minute their set ended, they had they crowd (including myself) on their feet chanting for "one more sketch".
