British dance act Faithless have parted ways with their record company in a bid to regain artistic control of their music.
The band have been signed to SonyBMG subsidiary Cheeky for four albums, but star Sister Bliss admits she is desperate for more freedom in the studio.
"We've been masters of the DIY ethic," she said. "There's something about not being under the pressure of a big corporation and not having to fill their coffers."
She adds the group are considering ditching albums to release single tracks instead.
The band are due to perform as part of Cork's 'Live at the Marquee' festival this Wednesday.
