An Irish music website is to present what it says are Ireland's first unsigned music awards next month.

An Irish music website is to present what it says are Ireland's first unsigned music awards next month.

Musicreviewunsigned.com will present the MRU Awards at the Mercantile Hotel, Dublin on December 16.

Promised to be a show with “real awards and real people”, the ceremony will be hosted by 'Sunday Roast' host and RTE 2xm presenter Keiron Campbell Black.

The event will also be broadcast live on AerTV and streamed over the internet on the night.

Nominees in all 24 categories will be judged by editor-In-chief Trevor Hailpin, fashion editor Darragh Mullooly and the MRU editorial team and writers.

The line-up on the night will include performances by Juliet's Rescue, Soldiers Can't Dance, Dave Morrissey, Bennett vs Matrix and more.
