Derry Girls and Queer Eye stars suggest a collab that could make the best TV yet

Two of the most wholesome TV shows to grace our screens have made the top 10 most-watched this week on Netflix.

The streaming site tweeted the top 10 shows that people have been binge-watching with none other than our very own Derry Girls and our favourite fab five boys of Queer Eye making the top 10 list.

Derry Girls season one dropped on Netflix earlier this month and season four of Queer Eye became available to users later in the month.

Both shows have brought us laughter and tears respectively and now the possibility of an exciting collaboration has cropped up.

One of the fab five boys, Tan France, took to Twitter to express his delight at Queer Eye coming in at number nine out of the 10 most-watched shows this week.

Founder and artistic director of Ferocious Composure, Mike Ryan, replied to Tan's tweet tagging Nicola Coughlan who plays Clare in Derry Girls, highlighting that the show set in Derry beat Queer Eye by two places.

The tweet read: "I wonder how @nicolacoughlan feels about beating Queer Eye by two places."

The Irish actress replied by saying she was "born ready for the crossover" before Tan only went and suggested that she make an appearance on the makeover show.

"Come be on the show, Kween. Let’s piss around, Derry style!", he tweeted.

Nicola then tweeted Netflix telling them to make it happen.

We are weak at the thought of Antoni Porowski, Tan France, Karamo Brown, Bobby Berk, and Jonathan Van Ness "pissing" around Derry with Erin (Saoirse-Monica Jackson), her cousin Orla (Louisa Harland), their friends Clare (Nicola Coughlan) and Michelle (Jamie-Lee O'Donnell), and Michelle's English cousin James (Dylan Llewellyn).

Over to you, Netflix. Make it happen!
