Red-faced Demi Moore was left apologising to talk show host Ellen DeGeneres on her show yesterday after realising the former comedienne was cut out of one of her films.

DeGeneres reminded the actress, who was promoting new movie Mr. Brooks, that she was set to make her movie debut in Moore's The Seventh Sign - but her part was cut out.

Apologetic Moore said: "I feel so bad about you being cut out of our movie that we did so long ago… I've carried huge guilt… and now, believe me, I'm sure they feel really sorry."

As a treat for the host, Moore premiered DeGeneres' cut-out scene on the show.
