Craig: 'Dirty' Rihanna would make good Bond girl

Daniel Craig thinks Rihanna would make a good Bond girl - because he says that she is "dirty".

The 44-year-old actor - who reprises his role as James Bond in the latest film in the series, 'Skyfall' - believes the 'You Da One' singer would be a better star of the film series than Beyonce Knowles.

Asked who would make a better Bond girl of the two singers, he told GlobalGrind.com: "I think Rihanna. She's dirtier."

However, when his co-stars Berenice Marlohe and Naomie Harris were asked the same question, they opted for Beyonce.

When told of Craig's reasoning, Naomie exclaimed: "Is that what you need to be a Bond girl?"

While the two actresses were not thrilled by Craig's answer, Rihanna was delighted.

She tweeted a link to the interview and wrote: "This makes me happy."

Meanwhile, Daniel expressed his belief that the series has lasted so long because the producers make every decision based on the needs of the audience.

He said: "I think the Brocollis have been making these films so long and kept them an event and they've never forgotten these films are about the audience, nobody else, and they're the most important.

"Plus Ian Fleming created a pretty great character and I was lucky enough to have a go at him."
