Christopher Lee says he probably won't take on the role of Albus Dumbledore in the next Harry Potter film.
Lee had been one of the favourites to take over the role following the death of Richard Harris.
But he says the decision about who should play Hogwart's headteacher is up to the filmmakers.
"I have not been asked to appear in the next Harry Potter film and I probably won't," he said.
"I consider this matter in very bad taste. The man had only been dead for about 10 days when this gossip started to go round."
