Jamie Foxx, Missy Elliott, Busta Rhymes and Mary J Blige are leading the nominations at this year's Black Entertainment Television (BET) Awards.
Singer/actor Foxx heads the field with five nods for Best Male R&B Artist, Best Actor, Video Of The Year for Gold Digger with Kanye West and twice in the Best Duet/Collaboration category for Unpredictable with Ludacris and Gold Digger.
Busta Rhymes is up for Best Male Hip-Hop Artist and Best Duet/Collaboration, Video Of The Year and Viewers' Choice for Touch It (Remix), while Missy Elliott has been named in the Best Female Hip-Hop Artist, Video Of The Year for Lose Control, as well as two video categories for her participation in Busta Rhymes' hit Touch It (Remix).
Meanwhile, Blige is set to fight Mariah Carey, Beyonce Knowles, Keyisha Cole and India Arie for Best Female R&B Artist, as well as Video Of The Year, and her part in Touch It (Remix) too.
The nominees will attend a star-studded ceremony at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles next month, where performers include Blige, Carey, T.I. and West.
