Beyoncé jumps off a skyscraper - twice

Beyonce performed two bungee jumps in New Zealand on Friday.

The brave 'Love On Top' hitmaker, who has a 22-month-old daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, with her rapper husband Jay Z, jumped off the Sky Tower twice in Auckland, just hours before performing in the capital.

A source at the tourist attraction revealed they were shocked when the 32-year-old star and her minders showed up unannounced at 10.30 a.m.

One insider told the Herald on Sunday newspaper: "She got changed into the bungee clothes out the back somewhere and was taken straight up in a service elevator.

"It was difficult to see her when she came down because she had so many bodyguards with her.

"It was all over very quickly and bosses kept it quiet from everyone because they didn't want word getting out and risk huge crowds turning up to watch.

"She did the whole thing virtually unnoticed."

Beyonce enjoyed the first jump so much she immediately asked to do it a second time.

She then "disappeared as quickly as she arrived".

The singer posted photographs of herself preparing to free-fall from the 1,076 feet tall tower, which is the tallest freestanding structure in the Southern Hemisphere, on her Instagram page.

Beyonce is currently performing her Mrs. Carter Show world tour in New Zealand and Australia, and will wrap up the tour in New York City on December 22.
