Bad Wolves’ Dolores O'Riordan tribute cover continues to dominate globally

On the day of Dolores O'Riordan’s tragic passing, she was scheduled to record guest vocals with American metal band, Bad Wolves.

To honor this, the band decided to record a cover of Cranberries hit Zombie in her memory, with all proceeds going to her three children.

Since its international release, the cover has continued to dominate rock and metal charts around the globe achieving number one on the iTunes Rock Single, number one on the iTunes Metal Single and the number one position On Spotify’s Rock Hard Playlist.

The video, accompanying the single, features an unreachable woman fully-realized in O’Riordan’s iconic gold from the original “Zombie” video.

Throughout the clip, she and frontman Tommy Vext try to touch each other but cannot. As they are doing so, she leaves golden handprints with each attempt to touch.

The video has now been viewed over 3.5 million times.
