Canadian teenager Avril Lavigne will now play the Point Theatre instead of the Olympia Theatre on Sunday 23 March.
Fans have been petitioning vigorously to have an extra concert added after the 1,600 capacity Olympia concert sold-out in 10 minutes.
Now it has been announced Avril Lavigne will play the 8,500 capacity Point Theatre.
Tickets will go on sale for the Point Theatre concert this Friday 28 February at 9am.
Lavigne has moved from virtual obscurity in backwater Canada to one of the world's biggest rock stars in the space of only 12 months.
Her debut album Let Go has already sold a staggering 12 millon copies worldwide and 80,000 copies in Ireland alone.
Lavigne is looking forward to her upcoming concert. "I can't wait to be out there; I want to rock the world! I want people to know that my music is real and honest - it came from my heart. I was just being true to myself."
