Andre’s cancer-stricken brother back in hospital
Peter Andre’s cancer-stricken brother has been rushed to hospital with a suspected blood clot on his lungs.
Andrew, 53, arrived in England on Thursday to stay with Pete while he undergoes chemotherapy for stomach cancer – but fell the very next day.
A source told the Daily Star newspaper: “Pete has plenty of space at his house and wanted Andrew to come over so he could help nurse him back to health.
“But on Friday – just a day after he arrived – he started to suffer severe pain and things went downhill quite quickly. Pete has been in A&E with his brother all weekend and things are looking quite serious.
“Pete just wants him home so he can look after him. He is devastated and everyone is just hoping Andrew pulls through.”
Things look set to get even worse for Australian-born Pete, 39, now that ex-wife Katie Price is suing him for alleged breach of confidence.
The 33-year-old model – who has kids Junior, six, and Princess, four, with the reality star – names her former manager Claire Powell, CAN Associates Ltd and old friend Jamelah Asmar along with Pete in court papers filed in London on Friday.
A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “Katie has been trying to reach an agreement but it hasn’t happened amicably, so she has gone to the courts instead.
"She’s frustrated, but she hopes that they can all reconcile their problems soon.”
