Ellen DeGeneres and ex-girlfriend Anne Heche had an awkward encounter when they found themselves face-to-face for the first time in five years.
The former lovers, who raised eyebrows with their high-profile lesbian relationship which lasted from 1997 until 2000, haven't spoken since their turbulent break-up.
The actress and chat show host were attending the GQ Celebrity Poker for Peace Games when Heche, who was with her husband Coley Laffoon, approached DeGeneres and her girlfriend Portia De Rossi.
A source tells American publication Us Weekly: "Ellen's face was bright red. The group talked, catching up and chatting and sort of seeing where each other was at in their lives.
"After that they went their separate ways and didn't have much to do with each other. They were concentrating more on their poker games."
