The new Eircom League season gets underway this evening, with eight teams in action.

The new Eircom League season gets underway this evening, with eight teams in action.

Defending champions Shelbourne will travel to Turner’s Cross for a showdown with Cork, while Bohemians welcome UCD to Dalymount Park, Longford Town visit Bray Wanderers’ Carlisle Grounds and newly promoted Drogheda United play host to Derry City.

All four games kick off at 7.45pm.
