A 32-year-old man is in hospital after a paramilitary-style punishment shooting in Bangor, Co Down, last night.

A 32-year-old man is in hospital after a paramilitary-style punishment shooting in Bangor, Co Down, last night.

He was abducted and taken to Kilcooley Square in the town where he was shot in the left leg.

It is not yet known who is responsible for the shooting.
