Sligo have thrown Kildare a potential league lifeline by agreeing to a replay of their infamous Division 1B football clash.

Kildare won the game by a point but were docked the two points for submitting an inadequate team-sheet to the referee.

Sligo PRO Padraic Duffy said: "We understand that the management committee will discuss the matter and if at that stage Kildare aren¹t awarded the points then we¹d be happy to play the game again."
