Tiger Woods bounced back in typical fashion by completing the outward nine of his final round at The Open in 33.
The world number one claimed a superb eagle three at the par five ninth to move to three-under-par.
Woods began poorly by bogeying the third but he responded superbly with birdies at the fifth and sixth - one of the hardest holes this week.
However, Woods has surely left himself too much to do. He is still eight shots behind leader Ernie Els, who is yet to begin his final round.
