UK driver held after immigrants found in lorry

A British lorry driver has been arrested in France after police discovered 33 Kurds hiding in his vehicle.

A British lorry driver has been arrested in France after police discovered 33 Kurds hiding in his vehicle.

The man was stopped as he drove through Normandy in Friday, apparently bound for the UK.

A spokesman for the French motorway police confirmed a lorry driver is in custody and the suspected illegal immigrants are also being questioned.
