£15m for drug task forces nationwide

The Government has announced that it has begun allocating funds to local drugs task forces around the country.

The Government has announced that it has begun allocating funds to local drugs task forces around the country.

Under the plan, £15m will be spent in 14 areas to support the treatment of drug addicts and their families.

In the first wave of funding, Ballymun, Cork and Dublin 12 will between them receive more than £1.25m.
