'The Voice' and Jessie J are at the centre of a fix row after it was claimed she rigged a head-to-head battle.
Last night, the coach had to choose between two of her team members - Letitia Grant Brown and Alex Buchanan - but show insiders claim she had already told fellow judge Danny O'Donoghue she would axe Alex so he could take him for the knockout rounds.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Jessie took Danny to one side before the show and said she preferred Letitia's voice, but didn't want to see Alex leave.
"So the pair agreed she would take Letitia through and Danny would save Alex."
The 23-year-old hopeful was reportedly shocked when he was told of the plan by his new mentor - who snapped him up straight after Jessie picked Letitia - and it is said the show has misled viewers regarding the importance of the battles between singers.
The insider added: "Viewers were led to believe Jessie was facing a decision between the artists based on her battle, but it was already a done deal.
"It makes a mockery of the idea that a singer's fate hands on how they perform on the night."
The reports also noted BBC had declined to comment on the claims as of last night.
