Romola Garai, the British actress receiving rave reviews in America for her performance as a love-lorn teenager in I Capture The Castle, says that playing a heartbroken character hit too close to home.
“Thank God I’m not in love now,” 20-year-old Garai told USA Today. “That awful emotion! No one should ever fall in love. It just takes over your entire existence. I’m happily, beautifully, blissfully single.”
Garai will soon be seen in Havana Nights: Dirty Dancing 2, in which she stars with Diego Luna from Y Tu Mama Tambien, and she is currently filming Vanity Fair in England with Reese Witherspoon.
