Jubilee Ireland to protest in Dublin

Members of Jubilee Ireland, the campaign to cancel Third World debt, will take to the streets of Dublin today to protest in advance of the upcoming G8 summit in Genoa.

Members of Jubilee Ireland, the campaign to cancel Third World debt, will take to the streets of Dublin today to protest in advance of the upcoming G8 summit in Genoa.

The group will unveil a 250-foot banner adorned with more than 1,000 messages from throughout Ireland.

Jubilee said it plans to bring the banner to Genoa as part of its protest against the policies of the G8 nations, the eight richest countries in the world.
