Truck driver dies in jack-knife crash

A truck driver was killed in a road accident in Co Kilkenny last night.

A truck driver was killed in a road accident in Co Kilkenny last night.

It happened when his vehicle jack-knifed on the road between Waterford and Mullinavat.

A pedestrian was also hit by the lorry, but escaped serious injury. The dead man is believed to be in his thirties and from Waterford.
