Irishwoman dies in Spanish resort

An Irishwoman has died in a road accident near the Spanish holiday resort of Fuengirola.

An Irishwoman has died in a road accident near the Spanish holiday resort of Fuengirola.

The woman and three others, all believed to be from Waterford, were travelling in a taxi when it was hit by a van yesterday.

One of the other women and the taxi driver were seriously injured in the crash.

Police said the van was travelling on the wrong side of the road when it collided with the taxi and two other cars.
