Work to locate the remains of a man murdered during the Troubles will resume in Co Louth today.
Twenty-four-year-old Gerard Evans from South Armagh was last seen alive in 1979. He is one of 14 of the so-called 'disapppeared' abducted and killed by the IRA.
It is suspected his body was dumped in bogland at Carrickrobin in Louth.
A spokesperson for the Independent Commission for the Location of Victims' Remains said the excavation for his remains could last for some time.
