Man still in custody regarding Dublin gun murder

Gardaí in Dublin are continuing to question a man this morning in connection with last Friday night's gangland murder in Tallaght.

Gardaí in Dublin are continuing to question a man this morning in connection with last Friday night's gangland murder in Tallaght.

The 31-year-old man, who was detained yesterday afternoon, is the fifth person held in connection with the fatal shooting of Seamus 'Shay' O'Byrne.

Three other men and a teenage girl were released without charge on Monday night.

The 27-year-old victim was shot while trying to flee from a gunman outside his home in the Tymon North Park area.

A 26-year-old woman was also shot in the leg during the attack.
