Building begins on €5.5m terminal extension at Knock

Work has begun on a new €5.5m terminal extension at Ireland West Airport Knock.

Work has begun on a new €5.5m terminal extension at Ireland West Airport Knock.

It follows a decision by An Bord Pleanála last February to grant planning for the project.

The extension will provide more space for passengers, a new security screening area, extended check in facilities, increased departures lounge space and new retail and catering facilities.

The terminal extension is part of a €46m-capital investment programme for the airport.
