Macalla named one of Europe's top 100 start-ups

Irish software company Macalla Software, has been listed as one of Europe's top 100 start-up companies by The Tornado Insider.

Irish software company Macalla Software, has been listed as one of Europe's top 100 start-up companies by The Tornado Insider.

The list comprises of emerging private technology companies who sell products that match their marketing promises as well as exhibit an ability to utilise their funding in the most effective manner. The list is published in the summer edition of the magazine due to be released in July.

According to Timothy Weeks, senior research analyst from Tornado Insider: "These companies are the elite of Europe, they have clearly demonstrated that the technology they are commercialising today will change the way things are done tomorrow."

Commenting on the company's inclusion on the list, CEO Niall Cleirigh said: "Our products and solutions are world class and our enviable customer base has been built up by a great team of people. We are proud to be recognised as one of the Tornado Inside Top 100 start-ups in Europe."

Macalla Software provides mobile e-Commerce platforms and applications to mobile operators and enterprises. The company is headquartered in Dublin, has offices in London, Madrid, Rotterdam, New York and Frankfurt.
