Hollywood actor Nicolas Cage believes his "regular guy" persona will secure the success of controversial new 9/11 movie World Trade Center.
The Oliver Stone movie tells the story of the last two people found alive in the rubble of New York City's collapsed Twin Towers in 2001.
And the Leaving Las Vegas Oscar-winner, who plays police officer John McLoughlin, believes movie-goers will identify with him because he is just like them, despite his glittering Hollywood career.
He says: "I'm a regular guy. The public tends to respond more to the everyman than the dream man.
"Tom Hanks and Harrison Ford are both good examples of classic everyman types. I think people like to go to movies to feel like they could be people like us. It works well for me in World Trade Center."
