Government to grant tourism state aid
The Government has received European Commission permission to divert state aid to tourism.
The Industry has been reeling from the foot-and-mouth crisis and the September 11 attacks on the US.
Minister for Tourism, Jim McDaid, said the EC had signalled clearance for backing for a new tourism investment plan.
