Singer Morrissey has fuelled further speculation about his health - by cancelling the London date on his world tour.
The former frontman of The Smiths was initially thrown into jeopardy in February when he scrapped the first five US dates of the tour, after falling ill with a mystery ailment which affected his voice.
Another two dates were cancelled before the tour moved to Europe - and now the star's run in the UK has come to a halt with Monday's concert at London's Royal Albert Hall axed hours before showtime.
A source said that subsequent planned UK shows in Birmingham and Great Yarmouth later this week are also in doubt.
A statement from concert promoters SJM Concerts said: "Event organisers would like to apologise to his fans for the disappointment but he is unable to perform and on doctor's orders has been told to rest."
